Updates for beta2
Last Updated on Thursday, 03 December 2009 18:23 Written by Peer Oliver Schmidt Thursday, 03 December 2009 18:19
Lots of people reported great success using the DVD image for installation.
Quite a few users, who are upgrading their systems from earlier beta/alpha installs, and/or are using the net-installer, have reported problems with pluto-orbiter and/or pluto-mythtv-scripts failing to install.
People, who experience pluto-orbiter dependency issues, are asked to make sure that they have the following line in their /etc/apt/sources.list:
deb http://www.avenard.org/files/ubuntu-repos intrepid release
Apart from the change in sources.list, we have provided some new debs which should help smooth the installation procedure, and fix a couple of bugs. Please apt-get update and apt-get upgrade your install, to get the latest packages.
Best regards
