We did not have any updates in the past weeks, like we used to in the alpha stages. Reasoning was two fold: * There were database changes, which touched every part of the LinuxMCE * Beta is no alpha, and we want to make sure, things work before inflicting pain onto the majority of LinuxMCE users. Among other things, the past weeks have been used to optimize the setup of graphic card drivers. Inclusion of VDPAU enabled MythTV and Xine. For people outside the US, another major step towards support for UTF-8 has been taken. This means, Umlauts, accents etc should show up correct.
